The Reusable Armboard Strap Kit includes two Velcro® strips that are placed onto the bottom
side of
your armboard. This keeps your
armboard strap from falling onto the floor. |
Reusable Armboard Strap
- This reusable armboard strap is soft and gentle for your patient's arm.
- It's also easier to clean because of the 5" wide x 12" long Comfort vinyl that is sewn into the 30" long Velcro® strap. (See photo)
- You can purchase just the Armboard Strap or the Armboard Strap Kit which includes a reusable strap and two 2" x 6" strips of self adhesive Velcro® that will attach to the underside of your armboard.
- This permits you to better secure the strap to the underside of the armboard and reduce the risk of the strap falling onto the contaminated floor.
- This soft latex-free double faced loop armboard strap features an 18" long section of Velcro® hook sewn at the end. The 29½" overall length is long enough to accommodate nearly any patient arm.
- The broad 5" wide strap surface area reduces pressure points on your patient's arm.
- If you purchase the Reusable Armboard Strap Kit, you would simply peel off the release liner from the back side of the Velcro®. Then just place the Velcro® strips onto the bottom side of your armboards as shown in the photo.
- The Velcro® hook strips then secure the reusable armboard strap so it won't fall onto the potentially contaminated floor.
- This further enhances cleanliness and good infection control in the O.R. suite. It also saves time by eliminating the need to retrieve straps that continually fall onto the floor.
- It may also increase the life expectancy of your straps since they will stay with the armboard instead of being kicked around and walked on while on the floor.
